SANAD Sourcing, Troubleshooting Guide
Overview
This article covers the most common issues with SANAD Sourcing and how to resolve them.
The Sanad Recommendations Tab Is Not Visible
- Job status: The tab appears only for live, active jobs.
- FOR SANAD AI features, your account must have SANAD AI features enabled. Contact your admin.
- Feature flag: if the account is eligible but the tab is still missing, contact support.

No Candidates Are Returned After Enabling
The most common cause is an incomplete or very short job description. To improve results:
- Add a specific job title.
- Include a clear requirements section with skills, experience level, and location.
- Remove any generic placeholder text from the JD.

💡 Tip: Use the JD Generator before enabling SANAD Sourcing. |
Candidate Matches Are Not Relevant
If the returned candidates do not match the role, check whether the job title is too generic. Are the required skills listed explicitly? Is the experience level specified?
AI Credits Are Not Updating
If your credit balance does not appear to update after an action, refresh the Admin Panel page. If the balance is still incorrect after refreshing, contact support.
Invite to Apply Email Not Received by Candidate
- Confirm the Invite to Apply action was completed.
- Ask the candidate to check their spam or junk folder.
- If the issue persists, contact support with the job ID and candidate details.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I report a persistent issue with match quality?
Contact support with: the job ID, role type, 2–3 examples of poor-match candidates, and a copy of the job description.
Can I clear the recommendation list and start fresh?
Disabling and re-enabling AI Sourcing on the same job triggers a new matching session.
A candidate appears in both the Sanad Recommendations tab and the standard pipeline. What should I do?
This is a known edge case. You can dismiss the sourced card without consuming credits.
